Guided tours at QSAM typically last around 1 hour and 30 minutes, taking visitors through the museum’s three main exhibition floors and, when available, a special exhibition in the basement level.

Throughout the tour, visitors will be accompanied by a museum guide to explore the evolution of Vietnamese art from the Indochina period to the contemporary era. The tour also offers insight into the museum’s formation and the broader social and cultural contexts that have shaped the country’s art history.

The tour highlights include:

  • Key milestones in the history of Vietnamese painting.
  • Artist biographies and creative contexts.
  • Artwork meanings and the stories behind each artistic period.

The program can be customized in terms of duration and content to suit different audiences such as students, university groups, or professionals in the field.
