Taking place from September 3–8, 2024, at the QS ART SPACE dedicated exhibition area, this event offers the public a chance to admire the soft, delicate beauty of silk—when combined with meticulous hand-painting techniques and a deeply feminine artistic sensibility. This is not just a visual exhibition, but an inspiring artistic journey that celebrates the hands of the artist and the pure elegance of traditional materials.
As part of this exhibition, Silk’ Studio presents a selection of fine art pieces alongside an exclusive collection of one-of-a-kind fashion designs, all created entirely by hand on silk fabric. These works were painted using watercolor and liquitex over several months, requiring precision, patience, and exceptional skill. “Blend in Blossom” also marks the 5-year milestone of Silk’ Studio’s journey with the fabric painting art community—from teaching and inspiring to crafting high-quality handmade art products.
On this special occasion, Silk officially launches the book “The Art of Painting on Fabric”—a work that encapsulates 5 years of practice and over 15 years of experience in fashion by Võ Hà Anh Thảo, founder of Silk’ Studio. This book is not only a valuable professional resource but also a vibrant creative diary, documenting Silk’s journey alongside each material, each student, and each uniquely designed creation.
Silk’ Studio is a dedicated artistic space for practicing and teaching techniques of silk painting on fabric using watercolor, liquitex, and offering a wide range of applied art courses. Constantly exploring materials and expressive forms, Silk strives to create an inspiring and inclusive artistic community.
