This September, Quang San Art Museum, in collaboration with D16 Creative Class, proudly presents the exhibition “Parallel Realities,” showcasing 20 works from the latest creative phase of artist Vũ Tuấn Việt. The exhibition runs from September 14, 2024, to September 29, 2024.

“Parallel Realities” tells the story of a character emerging from the “gray zone,” embarking on a journey to explore and experience the world. Using the language of Cubism, the series reflects the ambiguous interweaving of space and time through fragments of the worlds the character traverses. Each world carries its own colors, ideas, and emotional tones, mirroring the realities the character has witnessed, endured, enjoyed, or been trapped in. They may align or contradict, yet they coexist, intertwining and complementing each other to form a greater whole—a unique panoramic vision.
Throughout the series, the figure adorned with a flower on its head serves as the red thread binding these fragments of reality together. This figure journeys through different worlds, constantly shifting its form as it steps into each new reality. Sometimes solitary—representing an individual; sometimes multiplied—symbolizing a generation. The flower atop its head signifies both the repetition of space-time and functions like an antenna, absorbing natural signals, decoding and imprinting them into the character’s inner world, filling voids and soothing hidden depths. Most works employ vibrant colors, conveying a pursuit of harmony and connection with nature and coexistence with all living things—central themes of Vũ Tuấn Việt’s current creative phase.
The exhibition atmosphere is designed as an enchanting visual journey. With refined lighting and thoughtfully orchestrated spaces, viewers feel transported into an alternate dimension where boundaries of memory, time, and self expand. Many visitors describe a sense of being lost yet rediscovering themselves amid surreal imagery and overlapping layers of space within the works. The connection between the artist, the art, and the audience unfolds authentically and poignantly, making “Parallel Realities” not just a visual exhibition but a profound artistic experience that delves into the depths of the mind and the intricate ties between humanity and the world around us.
